Family of Katherine Volk & Louis James Kooman

Louis James Kooman (1909-1998) married Katherine Volk (1911-1991) on September 7, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI. 
They divorced in 1934.

Louis was the son of John and Ada Waters Kooman; Katherine was the daughter of Ernest and Libby Sperry Volk.

Katherine and James had two children:

Carleen (1930- )        Ruth (1932- )

James was remarried in 1937 to Maxine Rogers (1917-1962); they had three children:

Pearl Jean (1938- )        Mary Jane (1945- )        Lester (1952- )

Katherine was remarried in 1936 to Paul Shannon (1909-1981); they had no children together.
